How it works
Why Leader Local Grants?
Do you have an idea that you think will make your community a better place to live? Then Leader Local Grants is for you.
Leader Local Grants is looking to help make your community better by funding your projects.
In cycle 8, every local paper will have a grant of $1,000 available for the idea that gets the most votes.
Those who are successful in securing a grant will also go into the draw to win a Toyota Hi-Ace van for their community group.
How can you get funding through Leader Local Grants?
Think of an idea
Do you want to build an organic vegie garden in your street that everyone can use?
What about your community group – does it need materials to help knit blankets or teach skills or just help people enjoy life? Could your school benefit from a breakfast club, new sporting or musical equipment?
Use your imagination!
