Alternative Training Options – Coburg Districts Football Club
We would like to offer alternative Training Options to our junior players to mix up their footy training nights. We have found in the past that these alternative activities keep younger players interested in footy throughout the season and provide a great opportunity for team bonding. They also help to develop a range of skills that are useful in their games. This is particularly important for our junior girls, who are new to footy and often enjoy different and fun environments to exercise in.
The major costs associated with the project are
The cost per player to be involved in different activities, such as boxing, spin or ninja classes.
The $1,000 grant will be used
All of the grant will go towards paying individual fees per player to participate in the alternative training opportunities that we source.
How they raise the rest of the funding
Through club fundraising, ie canteen and social events.
