Blessing Bags, Frankston area

Blessing Bags distributes bags of essentials to people experiencing homelessness, which helps to support our most vulnerable community members. Each bag includes various toiletries, and a note of love, hope or positivity. Our aim is for the recipient of each bag to feel worthy.

We do not have the funds to keep up with the growing demand from organisations requesting bags for distribution. To continue our work and reach more people in need, we need funds to purchase the items fill our bags.

The $1,000 grant will be used

This grant will be spent on filling our bags for distribution. We rely heavily on donations from the local community to help fill these bags, and these funds will help us to ensure we can make our target of 300 bags for each bagging day every 2-3 months.

How they raise the rest of the funding

We rely on community donations and our regular fundraisers to meet our financial needs throughout the year.
