Mill Park Heights Primary School Indigenous Native Garden

We would like to create an Indigenous Native Garden now that our new buildings have been completed. Our Environmental Tacklers would be in charge of this garden. Project would be used as a learning tool to help students understand the benefits of native plants and the positive impact on our environment and local community.

The major costs associated with the project are

Plants and soil Kids have researched plants from the Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Co operative and would like to plant...... Ground cover: Matted Bush Pea and Berry saltbush and Australian Bluebell Next level up to 80cm: Basalt daisy and pale Vanilla and Chocolate Daisies 1-2m: Grevilleas 2-4m: River Bottle Brush.

The $1,000 grant will be used

Major costs will be the purchase of plants, environment students will participate and organise the planting of these plants
