Music wall for inclusive play for children of all abilities – Armadale Early Learning Centre
Some children at our not-for-profit kinder use Picture Exchange and Key Word Sign to communicate. We also have a large cohort of children from diverse backgrounds who speak limited English. As a result, many students have delays in speech and language development. A music wall will encourage children to move to cooperative play. Music offers inclusive play opportunity that provides a sense of belonging to children and families who, experience feelings of isolation within their community.
