Russian-Australian Cultural Exchange Family Camp – East Brunswick (Russian Ethnic Representative Council)
Russia has a bad reputation at the moment, mainly because of fear of the unknown, especially internationally. Multicultural Australia should be different. Our idea: Australian/Russian families mix and learn about their cultures over a 3-day period at a friendly camp. Russian community has a colourful, vibrant and rich heritage that they want to retain, develop and pass down to their children. They are eager to also share this beauty with the wider community in the spirit of social cohesion.
