Spanish LOTE Community Classroom, Sunshine Heights Primary School

Spanish LOTE Community Classroom, Sunshine Heights Primary School

Create a Spanish room to develop language and cultural activities with the whole school community. It will benefit our community as the Australian Gov is trying to encourage children to learn other languages; students, families & teachers are really engaged with the learning of Spanish, however, we need a proper size room where we could bring the community together to do Spanish language and cultural activities, such as cooking or the telling of Spanish stories with the school community

How they raise the rest of the funding

I can fundraise the money by creating a big Discoteca/Fiesta event for the whole school community at our school. I would sell Spanish food, sell tickets, have our very own DJ from our parents community and sell some fluorescence bracelets. I have an amazing team of teachers who will support and help me to do this; and our very engaged school community in the learning of Spanish will support us with this by raising the money needed to complete our project.
